Eventbrite - Gobble Up

It is exciting to us that so many people have made craft food their full time business, and we want to connect these makers with restaurant owners and chefs, as well as everyday consumers. By dedicating an entire show just to these special crafty folks, we’ll be able to get so many more of their products in front of the food lovers who want to find them!

Why come to Gobble Up?

  • You’ll discover new products and ingredients that you can use in your own home kitchen
  • You’ll find GREAT gifts for the holidays, for anyone who likes cooking or food (who doesn’t?!)
  • You’ll discover 75+ local crafty food and beverage vendors that you may have never heard of before…or who may be one of your favorite vendors that you can stock up with in person!
  • You’ll show up to your holiday parties with contributions that will still wow all the other guests…even if you don’t feel like cooking!
  • For those of you excited about the food scene, you’ll find inventive, local food makers, all in one place.
  • Restauranteurs & Chefs: You’ll discover exciting new products from local purveyors to feature in your dishes and on your menus.
  • It’s FREE to attend!

We are currently accepting applications for our November 2017 show. Please read our FAQ, and then apply here!

About

This November will be our debut show of Gobble Up!

This event is produced by Urban Craft Uprising, Seattle’s Largest Indie Craft Show. We’ve been putting on our own bi-annual craft shows here in Seattle for 13 years, as well as smaller co-hosted shows in the area since 2014. We offer many networking and business-building events for small business owners.

Gobble Up is one of our newest endeavors, and intends to answer the call of the growing number of artisanal food vendors that we’ve seen apply to our shows over the past few years. We’ve noticed more and more over the past few years that this category is expanding rapidly, and we receive so many more applications for craft food vendors than we have room for, while trying to balance all the other categories of our shows.

It is exciting to us that so many people have made craft food their full time business, and we want to connect these makers with restaurant owners and chefs, as well as everyday consumers. By dedicating an entire show just to these special crafty folks, we’ll be able to get so many more of their products in front of the food lovers who want to find them!

Apply

After 13 years of running the Urban Craft Uprising in Seattle, we are excited to be bringing  a show to a new demographic on the Eastside. This show will be geared to both everyday customers, as well as to restaurants, chefs, and other professionals in the industry.

As a vendor at Gobble Up, you’ll be able to connect with:

  • Customers shopping for holiday gifts, treats for their own kitchen, and home cooks who like to use unique, quality products.
  • Restauranteurs and chefs who realize the importance of sourcing locally, and the caché of having recognizable, local producers on their menus, and the importance of highlighting these makers, and bringing attention to these companies’ stories.
This show will be taking place over Thanksgiving weekend (Small Business Saturday!), which is both the kick-off to the holiday shopping season, as well as a big weekend when people are in town for the holidays, and looking for fun activities to do with their families.
In order to apply, you must be an independently owned, Pacific Northwest-based food or beverage company who focuses on quality ingredients, and who is looking to build a strong brand within the community. We are also accepting a limited number of vendors who sell handmade kitchenware and kitchen/restaurant decor.
Food sold at the show must be packaged, with the exception of samples, which may not exceed 1 oz (food), 2 oz (beverages, including beer and wine), or 1/2 oz (spirits).
